El Coronado Reservation/Hotel Policies:

  1. A deposit of 1st night’s unit rental is required to confirm reservations (packages: $100 non-refundable, excludes holiday & special event dates where a higher nonrefundable deposit may apply) (Also see #7 PACKAGES). Balance due upon arrival in cash or credit card (VS, MC, DS only)-no personal checks. Reservation deposits are non-transferrable & apply to last night of stay. No refunds due to inclement weather or early departure. All reservations subject to applicable taxes & service fees as required & contracted by condo-unit registrant. Children 16 & under stay free with occupying adult (excludes packages where package increments are reserved). El Coronado does its very best to provide our guests with the accommodations they prefer, however, we CANNOT guarantee specific room numbers or floor levels.

  2. Each registered guest must present photo ID matching credit card at check-in (must be at least 25 to register). A $500 deposit will be accepted in lieu of credit card which will be refunded upon check-out after unit inspection qualifies no hotel damages. Reserved condo-units held until 12:00 AM midnight (packages 8:00 PM) on arrival date & cancelled unless “late arrival” is reserved with hotel. Upon any such occurance, reservation will be deemed a “no show” with unit available for resale and deposit forfeited.

  3. Check-in time after 3:00 PM daily as condo-units are cleared by Housekeeping Dept (please present hotel confirmation on arrival); check-out BEFORE 11:00 AM. Contact hotel for late check-in reservation HOLD.

  4. Advertised rates subject to change without notice with hotel occupancies & apply to reservations accepted by hotel 21 days in advance of reserved arrival date, excludes holidays & special events (2 or 3-night minimum may apply). Three-night minimum required in July & August. Room rates include a base number of adults as advertised. Each additional adult over base will be charged at $18.00 daily plus tax/service fee (excludes packages). AAA discounts are permissible Sun-Thu only for select dates in May, Jun, Sep & Oct (excludes Jun 30th - Aug 31st). Must specify AAA rate request at time of booking and have valid unexpired membership card at time of check-in under registrant's name. Discount cannot be combined with any other hotel offer or rate promotion & applies to AAA cardholder's room only. No AAA discounts permissiable if reservation is booked through or commission is due AAA Travel Agency. No AARP discounts.

  5. All reservation cancellations, unit-type downgrades or reservation date reductions made with hotel 3 weeks (21 days) PRIOR to reserved arrival date will incur 25% service fee of 1st night’s room rate with deposit balance refunded (on cancellations). For reservation cancellations occuring WITHIN 3 weeks (21 days) of reserved arrival date, initial deposit will be subject to full forfeit. Dates of stay may not be reduced upon check-in and any reservation date changes made within 21 days of reserved arrival date will incur a 25% change fee subtracted from the required initial deposit. Reservations for National Holidays require 30-day notice of cancellation for 75% refund. Reservation cancellations within 30 days of any National Holiday will be subject to full forfeit.

  6. Entire facility is SMOKE & PET FREE. Any in-unit smoking “of any kind’” detected by hotel personnel during your stay or any pet brought into the hotel will result in a $250 cleaning surcharge fee in neutralizing smoking/pet odors & allergens in your unit as contracted at time of registration

  7. PACKAGES (add’l): All package rates are based on double occupancy in unit-types D, D2 & GN only. For an upgraded unit-type, a daily surcharge will apply. For additional persons over 2, a rate surcharge will apply. No discounts on single unit occupants. Taxes, service fees & gratuities are additional. Advance reservations required & availability limited. No ticket substitutions or exchanges permitted. Package inclusions are subject to change based on availability & hotel cannot be held responsible for the availability of specific restaurants or activities. Hotel reserves the right to change, cancel or sell-out packages without notice. Beach Creek Platinum Ticket applies to dinner before 6:00 PM or credit toward a-la-carte menu guest billing. All packages exclude advertised lunch without rebate after September 30th due to restaurant closings.

  8. BED & BREAKFAST Getaway is midweek only (Sun-Thu) unless otherwise advertised for 2 persons plus tax & gratuities for unit D, D2, GN, GS only. For all other units, an “upgrade” charge will apply. For each additional person over 2 add $18 + tax nightly. Select dates available in May, June & October only-excludes national holidays and subject to sell-out. Included breakfast may be off-site.

  9. PET POLICY: Sorry, hotel policy doesn't permit pets of any kind in our units except for recognized "service dogs" with permit.

  10. Fiesta Room rental fees are per 6-hour block (tax inclusive) & subject to change without notice. Call for space availability & reservations.
